Leave us a comment and let us know!
Be sure to tell us what it is, why you like it, and give us a link, if appropriate.
We’ll take our favorites from the comments and incorporate them into this blog post, improving it as we go. The idea is to end up with the best resource ever for eco friendly / green gifts.
Let’s please keep it reasonable. I’m hoping this won’t attract a bunch of spammy replies!
We’ll see if crowdsourcing the gift ideas works.

Great idea. One thing I’ve been thinking of getting my sister this year is this Re-Run Messenger bag (http://fleurville.com/product/re-run™-messenger), i.e., diaper bag. The fabric is made of recycled plastic bottles, it’s got tons of pockets and it’s not too girly for a man to carry.
the Yule Tree to Be! I think this is really cool. you can grow your own Christmas tree in your backyard. it’s the http://www.longislandpress.com/2009/12/04/the-2009-long-island-press-green-holiday-gift-guide/ Scroll down it’s in the middle of the page.
I think for women pashmina shawl or recycled hand bag. For men who love to go hiking, solar backpack. For kids educational kits that teach them about renewable energy sources. I got these ideas from below website. They have list of gifts under $50 dollars too. The gifts are really great and buying them will save our planet.
