How to Recycle Potentially Toxic Trash

Electronic appliances, rechargeable batteries and other potentially toxic trash are items that you should definitely avoid sending to the landfill. Instead, consider recycling these items. It’s easier than you may think! For example, you can take old mobile phones to your mobile phone manufacturer. Sony also has worked to recycle batteries. The best way to figure out what to do with these items is to contact your local municipal solid waste department, which should have tons of resources and tips for what to do with your garbage.
