Looks like there is another biofuel kid on the block, Butanol! Butanol is said to provide up to 30% more energy than ethanol. Other advantages: butanol doesnâ€™t collect water, it can easily be distributed through existing pipelines, no car modification necessary, and itâ€™s corn-based like ethanol.
